Summer term 2017
Little Oaks is open 30 hours per week: Monday through Friday from 9:15am – 3:15pm, with a 3-hour morning session and a 3-hour afternoon session. There is also the option of staying for the full 6-hour day. If your child is 3 or 4 years old, or if they are 2 years old and you meet certain criteria, the government will fund your child’s place for up to 15 free hours per week. Extra hours are charged at £8 per hour for 2 year olds, and £7 per hour for 3+ year olds.
From Autumn term 2017
From September 2017, the government will be funding 30 free hours per week for all 3 and 4 year olds of working parents. Three and four year olds whose families do not meet the criteria will still be eligible for the current free 15 hours per week. Eligible 2-year olds will still be funded for 15 hours per week. All free hours apply for 38 weeks per year.
2 YEAR OLDS: To check your eligibility and apply for 15 free hours for a 2 year old, use this online application form. We will need the 4-digit code from your acceptance letter to complete your child’s registration.
3 & 4 YEAR OLDS: All 3 and 4 year olds will remain eligible for 15 free hours per week. Some 3 and 4 year olds will be eligible for 30 free hours per week from September 2017 – if all parents in the household are working at least 16 hours per week and earning at least the minimum wage, and as long as no parent’s individual earnings exceed £100,000 per year. Check your eligibility here for 30 free hours.
